Lane County Youth Services mission is to reduce juvenile crime through coordinated prevention and intervention programs that hold justice-involved youth appropriately accountable; provide restorative, rehabilitative and treatment services for youth and their families using evidence based best practices and data driven decision making; promote healthy family interactions; prevent.
Lane County 4-H is a community of young people learning citizenship, leadership, and life skills. 4-H learning takes place in 4-H Community Clubs led by volunteer adult leaders, held all across Lane County. Each 4-H Community Club has multiple volunteers to lead the various project groups within the club.
They toured the Food for Lane County warehouse and worked at Food for Lane County's Youth Farm in Springfield, where they learned about agriculture, hunger prevention programs, and healthy eating. Students learned about poverty and nutrition. Lane County is still planning several road projects this summer to preserve and maintain our transportation system.
More information will be coming soon. Most of the construction will occur between June and August, but schedules can change due to unpredictable weather, equipment maintenance or materials availability.
The Youth Transition Program is a collaboration between the Vocational Rehabilitation Division, Oregon Department of Education, University of Oregon, Lane County school districts, and Career Learning.
The program serves students on Individual Education Plans (IEPs), providing assistance with academic, vocational, independent living and personal. The Lane County Livestock Association (LCLA) was founded in and has operated continuously in Lane County since then.
It is the primary association for livestock producers in Lane County and is associated with the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association. Lane Youth Soccer Association provides a fun, competitive youth soccer experience for ALL children of Lane County ages 4 to Skill development and a love for the game is taught within a co-ed, fun environment by trained, volunteer coaches and referees.
We have teams in Eugene, Springfield, Creswell, Cottage Grove, Veneta, Elmira, Junction City, Harrisburg and Coburg. Lane County YFC as been reaching students since We constantly adapt to the culture to engage them with the timeless message of Jesus.
We operate four distinct programs that reach students where they are. Campus Life, Campus Life Middle School, Juvenile Justice Ministry, and P arent Life are designed to reach students in our community.
Programs. Campus Life High School ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools.
Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. Parent Life Lane County YFC, Eugene, OR. likes 1 was here. Parent Life reaches expectant and parenting teens and their children through intentional relationships with trained ers: Length of sessions: Training can be provided from a half-day to two full days.
